IN RE: Black Anvil Construction Supplies remains open as an Essential Critical Infrastructure Business

Dear Valued Customers and Suppliers:

Black Anvil Construction Supplies is committed to monitoring the COVID-19 situation and following the guidance of federal and local government as we navigate this situation. The health, safety, and welfare of our customers, suppliers, and employees are of utmost importance to us. We will continue to follow enhanced cleaning, safety, social distancing, and other CDC recommended guidelines to protect our contacts and help mitigate spread.

As an essential supplier to hospitals, municipalities, transportation, and other crucial infrastructures, we will remain open during “Stay Home, Stay Safe,” Michigan Executive Order #2020-2.  For more information on essential, critical infrastructure, please visit https://www.cisa.gov/publication/guidance-essential-critical-infrastructure-workforce.

Black Anvil Construction Supplies will continue to offer normal shipping, delivery, and pickup options. We are following current guidelines pertaining to sanitizing and cleaning surfaces. However, if you wish to pick up your order, but do not want to enter the building, please call – will we bring the material to your vehicle.

For suppliers, vendors, and shipping partners – we are still accepting deliveries. Please call from your vehicle or truck prior to drop-off. We are limiting the number of people admitted to the warehouse, for our safety and yours.

During this time, we ask that all non-essential visits to our warehouse and offices are postponed until the order is lifted.

PSA: CDC and MSHHS guidelines

In an effort to adhere to CDC and MSHHS guidelines, Black Anvil Construction Supplies will remain open but we are requesting that all non-essential visits to our offices and warehouse are postponed until after April 1st. Deliveries and pick-ups will be handled while limiting exposure, either by remaining in vehicle or restricting the amount of the building with access to the public.

If you need to pick up and are concerned, we can bring the material to your car/truck. When you arrive call 844-537-0326 and ask for delivery to your vehicle.

Black Anvil is one of only a handful of industrial supplies companies that is woman owned. Although these companies may not be common, there are plenty of CEO’s across the industry that have worked with Lori and helped her pave her way to the position she is in!

Johnston Companies is a Springfield Missouri area wholesale company that provides industrial supplies to major companies throughout the world. The CEO/President for the past 14 years is Susie Johnston Fox and she recently won the 2013 Women Owned Supplier of the Year from Pratt and Whitney.

Surpless, Dunn & Co.Inc has had Kathy Surpless as a VP of operations for 12 years. This company in the greater Chicago area services a wide market. Kathy also sits on the Women Industrial Supply Executives committee.
