Building Black Anvil Construction Services From The Ground Up
With a diverse back ground, Lori Moncur, CEO of Black Anvil Construction Supplies, has joined the ranks of over 8.6 million women owned businesses in the United States today. After attending Schoolcraft College in Livonia, Michigan, Lori first found success working in the accounts payable departments of Olympia & Joe Louis Arenas, respectively.
Staying with Accounts Payable, Lori soon moved on to Metro Bolt & Fastener where she added Purchasing and Sales to her resume within the first year on the job. With a solid foundation built in accounting, Lori had her sites set on being more involved in developing customer focused programs such as the Mitsubishi Spider Program, ASC's BMW Z3 Program, Tenneco Exhaust Systems, Lincoln Mercury Adjustable Pedal Program and she was specifically brought in to resolve the Teleflex / Drivesol catastrophic brake pedal issue.
Instrumental in the implementation and maintenance of QS and conversion to ISO Quality System, Lori was promoted to VP of Metro Bolt & Fastener in 2009 where she resided until 2014. In 2014, the opportunity to become the owner of a business by building it from the ground up and launching it, put her in position to become the majority stake holder and CEO of Black Anvil Construction Supplies. A company that provides fasteners, industrial supplies, pipe product and safety equipment to Northern Texas.
Extremely proud of her past accomplishments, Lori can now set her goals on the most important attribute to her, which is, "Being Customer Focused! Our business doesn't exist if our customers aren't happy with our products and services. It's that simple."
Black Anvil Construction Supplies is woman owned and operated and we look forward to serving our customers proudly!
